A day conference called by Churches Together on the Broads

with the help and encouragement of North Norfolk District Council,

chaired by the Archdeacon of Norfolk and with Henry Cator, the High Sheriff as a keynote speaker

will be held on 9^th February 2013.

It will explore the benefits of being a Welcoming Community.

Participants will be given insights into: how new possibilities provided by IT can contribute; and how less technical things,  such as good sign posting and personal friendliness are indispensable. It is hoped that Welcoming Community Champions will emerge as a result of the conference

and  down the lane to the river,

then back along the riverside to Thurne windmill

and alongside the dyke to the Lion for lunch.

Walk about 4 miles.
