March Walk

Neville Khambatta writes:

“We will meet at Irstead Staithe   (See map) –   for 10 o’clock on Monday 21st March.

Part of the walk can be VERY wet and boggy but only for a couple of hundred yards, apart from that it is a very civilised wander through the paths and lanes. Depending on the numbers we will arrange to get everyone to the start of the walk.

We shall walk from Three Hammer Common back to our cars at Irstead via Alderfen Broad and then drive up the road to the White Horses for lunch. If there is time we might stop to take in the Barton Board Walk.”

Anyone is welcome to join us on our walks –  normally up to 4 miles. We pay a £2 levy to defray cost and usually have a shared pub lunch afterwards.  If you intent to join us on the 21st please let our Hon. Sec know email:
