We meet at the Goat Inn Skeyton
Mary Elsey writes
Our next walk on Monday 21 July 2014 takes place in North Norfolk and will be led by Ian Hatfield who writes-
“This walk of about 4,75 miles will start and finish at The Goat Inn, Long Road, Skeyton NR10 5DH OS Explorer 252: 251244
Using country lanes and field paths, we will walk to Swanton Hill and from there to Swanton Abbot Church. Then we make our way to Swanton Abbot village. After walking through the village we will follow the course of the Stakebridge beck and back to the Goat Inn.”
A detailed menu is on the Goat Inn webpage, and as usual we will choose our lunch before setting off on our walk at 10.00 am returning to eat by 1.00 pm
As always we shall be wearing appropriate footwear and clothing, and if it is a hot day possibly bringing a bottle of water. Conscious that we are taking care and responsibility for any action we may make, and leaving on our way nothing but our thanks.
If you have friends who would like to join us, walking or just for lunch, they will be very welcome, please just remember to e-mail before Monday 21 July, to tell me you are coming and whether or not you are staying for lunch.
